ABOUT ME
(In preparation for writing this About Me page I have conducted extensive research on the About the Author sections of many writers I admire: Jim Butcher, John Green, and whatever human Kumquat wrote the book about the giant white whale. One aspect stuck out with pretty much all of them, sarcastic inauthenticity. When you get so cleverly self-indulgent and dickish that eventually it swings back around to sincere and charming, like a Mobius Strip for emotionally complicated jackasses. People seem to love the sly complexity that comes from the well crafted avoidance of any real literary or biographic substance, allowing the reader to decide for themselves just how interesting and deep this writer probably is in real life. So I thought, what the heck.
In short, that's the feel I was going for, so here goes...)
